I’m Chelsea, the heart and hands behind this little business that started in a 100-square-foot bedroom inside a single-wide trailer on my family’s farm in Kentucky. Back then, it was just me, a bunch of beads, and a big dream to create something meaningful. I left a soul-sucking government job in 2009 with no real plan just a gut feeling that I was meant for more.

I jumped into entrepreneurship with zero experience and a whole lot of grit. Fueled by a stack of Dr. Peppers and a deep belief in what I was building, I signed up for every craft show within 50 miles and got my Etsy shop up and running like my grocery budget depended on it, because it did.

In just a few years, HorseFeathers outgrew that tiny trailer. I moved into my first real studio, got invited to the Oscars gifting suite in LA, and even landed a live FOX News interview. Today, HorseFeathers is known for colorful, meaningful gemstone jewelry and handcrafted charms that help you celebrate life’s little moments.

Everything is still handmade with love by real people, right here in America and designed to be more than just something to wear. Our jewelry is a daily reminder to stay grounded, find joy, and live your story out loud.
